David Remey Financial Advisor Stifel Daytona Beach FL

David S. Remey, CFP®, CIMA®, CPA is a Senior Vice President/Investments in Stifel's Daytona Beach, Florida office. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

David graduated from the University of Central Florida with a double major in finance and accountancy. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) prior to entering the investment industry. To further his knowledge and areas of expertise, David attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional certification and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from the Investments and Wealth Planning InsituteTM formerly known as Investment Management Consultants Association after completing the executive education component at the Wharton School - Aresty Institute. With extensive knowledge in retirement planning and investment-related aspects of estate planning, David has the expertise to meet the standards of high-net-worth individuals, professionals, business owners, retirees, and charitable foundations who are serious about building and preserving wealth. David is interested in long-term relationships, not individual transactions. He works toward forming these relationships by designing detailed financial strategies for individual clients that take into account their own investment needs, risk tolerance, tax liabilities, and personal considerations that might impact their investment decisions. Through a consistent commitment to excellence, he has built a solid clientele. His business thrives on referrals from satisfied clients and professionals.

David resides in Ormond Beach and enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, and serving the community.

 

Iris Cooper Stifel Daytona Beach Florida

Iris M. Cooper, Senior Registered Client Service Associate, began her financial services industry career in 1988. Her duties are many and varied, including daily client interface, preparing documents for opening new accounts and ensuring that paperwork has been submitted correctly, keeping clients informed of their responsibility related to taking mandatory distributions from their IRAs, facilitating check requests and electronic cash transactions, implementing financial strategies, preparing for appointments, scheduling account reviews, and entering unsolicited trade orders from clients as well as those directed by David.  She is actively involved in daily communication with clients, answering questions and resolving issues to make sure that clients receive the personal attention they deserve and expect.

Iris and her husband are long-time Ormond Beach residents. In her spare time, Iris enjoys bike riding, reading, working in her yard, and camping. 

 

Caren Cardin Stifel Daytona Beach Florida LPGACaren L. Cardin, AAMS®, Senior Registered Client Service Associate, began her financial services industry career in 1997. She has the responsibility of assisting David with the investment planning process. She earned the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation from the College for Financial Planning. This certification enhances her ability to work with asset allocation strategies both during the initial development of client-specific asset allocation models as well as ongoing monitoring of clients existing portfolios. She is available to assist clients with service-related aspects of their accounts, including accepting unsolicited trade orders as well as coordinating David's recommendations to clients' portfolios. Her support role is vital to provide each client with the personal attention they deserve. 

Caren and her husband live in Daytona Beach. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling, and reading.
